The "Tying Yarn" used in this sock is knotted together at the change of each color making the left and right sock different, while they still share a lot of the same colors. It’s all one yarn but the length of each color is often longer than the sock itself. That’s why we thought it would be interesting to use in hosiery. This technique is accomplished using a special machine created by Japanese inventor, Shozo Katayama, and now Mayor of Hyogo, Japan! (If American actors can become politicians...) The lengths of each color between knots can be controlled using the computer which makes it much different from the "space dyed" yarns in many of our socks.

Content is 70% Cotton, 30% Nylon. Made in Japan. Shoe size 9-12.

Care Instructions: Machine washable in lukewarm water delicate. It would be best to not put them in the dryer, but if you do, make sure it is on the lowest temperature possible or on "fluff" dry.
