Jhane's Take on the Mouse Pads

This is one of those products where I genuinely asked myself: who still uses mouse pads?

I do — but for a very specific reason. I keep a number of older computers around to run old software, and for those setups, a mouse pad still makes sense. Beyond that? I honestly don’t know who else uses them anymore. Someone must.

That said, they were fun to design, and the printing is really good — clean, crisp, and exactly what I hoped for. As a flat surface, they behave nicely as a printed object.

They come in rectangular and circular versions, made from neoprene, with a non-slip rubber bottom that actually does its job. They’re ¼” thick, which gives them a bit of cushion without feeling bulky.

So while this isn’t an object I use constantly, it’s one I appreciate having around — especially in contexts where modern hardware just doesn’t apply. Like several things here, it exists because of how I actually work, not because it was obvious or trendy.

And sometimes that’s reason enough.
