Jhane's Take on the Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest

This one exists for a very specific reason: Adrian lost our only mouse pad with a wrist rest, and once it was gone, we realized we actually missed it.

Like the standard mouse pad, the printing is excellent — clean, sharp, and true to the design. The printed surface is neoprene, but unlike the flat version, this one sits on a semi-opaque black plastic base rather than a flexible rubber sheet. I don’t currently have one in front of me — Adrian has it — but that base is part of what gives it a more structured feel on the desk.

The defining feature is the integrated wrist rest, which uses an ergonomic memory foam pad. From experience, it makes long stretches at the computer noticeably more comfortable. It’s one of those things you don’t think about until it’s gone.

The overall size is 9.17” × 10.15”, which gives it enough presence to feel stable without overwhelming the workspace.

I still sometimes wonder who uses mouse pads anymore — but for older machines, long work sessions, or anyone who notices wrist fatigue, this one earns its place. It came out of a small, practical need, and those are usually the objects that stick around.
